Total Station Wireless Radio Kit
FieldHawk Single Kit
Wireless Data Collection the easy way!
Haven't you always wanted to run your data collector without having to use a cable directly connected to the Total Station? Haven't you always wanted to have this capability without buying a new instrument or equipment?
With our FieldHawk Single kit, instead of connecting your instrument cable into your data collector, you simply connect to our radio. Then using a Bluetooth enabled data collector, you can wirelessly connect to your total station using your data collector's Bluetooth port.
Reliable Connectivity
We use industrial strength Bluetooth technology in all our radio systems. The FieldHawk Single kit uses a Class II Bluetooth radio that will give you approximately 30 m or 100 feet of reception around your instrument. No dropped connections, seamless connectivity in all weather conditions.
Power
FieldHawk is powered using an internal 2400 MHa Li-Ion battery. Under normal conditions, you can expect 30 - 40 hours of continuous use between charges. However, if you run out of power, FieldHawk includes an external 9V battery compartment so you can complete your job using standard 9V batteries.
What are the Benefits?
- Freedom - Since you are no longer physically connected to the instrument with a cable, you can easily walk around your instrument with ease.
- Modernize - Modernize your old equipment and make them Bluetooth enabled.
- Save Money - Instrument cables on average cost $75 to $150 dollars and most companies need to replace them once a year. Since you won't be replacing so many cables, most customers will pay for FieldHawk Single in only a couple of years.
What do I Need?
- Total Station - You need a standard total station that has a serial communication port. Instead of connecting your data collector to the instrument, you connect it to FieldHawk using your current instrument cable. All brands of total stations including Topcon, Sokkia, Leica, Trimble, Nikon, Pentax and others are compatible with FieldHawk.
- Data Collector - You need a data collector that has Bluetooth capabilities. Instead of connecting to your instrument with a cable, you will use your data collector's Bluetooth port and connect to directly to the FieldHawk radio using a wireless Bluetooth connection.
